Current Projects

We are interested in obtaining the knowledge on relationships between the natural elements and the developing environment of our cities in order to restore the health of urban ecosystems and enhance the ecosystem services they supply. We are currently working on the following areas: evaluating the impacts of global environmental change on urban ecosystem services; developing quantitative methodology to study the structure and functions of urban ecosystems, and conducting integrated urban environmental sustainability assessments in China​.
